“The word of God is a seed that produces instant harvest. The word spoken to the woman brings a great crowd of Samaritans to the feet of Jesus.”

1 NOTE
How can you be certain that Jesus’ Living Water is inside of you?
A few years ago, Gatorade ran a national ad campaign: “Is it in you?” Global superstar athletes, in fierce competition, were dominating as a neon (almost sulfuric) single bead of sweat streamed down their face. The message was clear: if you drink Gatorade, you will have peak supernatural advantage against your opponent. But having Gatorade in you means very little in light of eternity. The real question we should ask ourselves is clear: “Is it (the Living Water) in you?”
The surest sign that the Living Water is in the woman is her boldness. The woman drew water from the well at noon because she was side-eyed for her scandalous past. She did not go for water with everyone else in the cool mornings or pleasant evenings because the drama drove her out of society. But once the water is in her, she goes directly to her opp (how the young people say enemy these days). The Living Water, bubbled up inside of her to eternal life, not only for her, but for the entire Sychar Village. The water is alive and will have to come out!
Ironically, her invitation to the village is “Come, see a man” (John 4:29). The gossipers must have shaken their heads and quipped, “Oh, you found another new man.” We all have skeletons in the closet. Some have so many skeletons they need walk-in closets. But the woman lived bold in the Light. This man told her all she ever did. This man quenched her spiritual thirst. Her former opps (street slang for enemies these days) had to see this for themselves. After spending two days with Jesus, the entire Sychar Village came to faith because of the woman’s bold testimony. The woman at the well became a well. And she will always be remembered as the most effective evangelist in the New Testament!
1 QUESTION
When the Living Water is in us, the Living Water must come out. What is your level of bold witness these days? Is the Living Water in you?
