1 NOTE
On November 5, 2024 I sent out the pilot issue of the 1-1 -1 Finishing Well newsletter. It has been 100 weeks since I wrote the first series, ‘7 Signs That You Abide in Christ’. At this benchmark moment, I have been reflecting on 7 undeserved gifts God has given to me because I started the newsletter.
Friends - God has used the 1-1-1 to renew and grow many old friendships.
Writing - God knows I love writing and the 1-1-1 has become such a satisfying learning lab.
Theology- God has used the 1-1-1 to sharpen my Biblical teaching and finishing well leadership theories.
Feedback - God has given me so many wonderful connections with many of you! Each week my inbox is full of encouragements, insights, aha moments, and real prayer requests. I love this so much!
Stories - God has used the 1-1-1 to sharpen and organize my illustration library for preaching and training.
Writing - God has given me Becky as an amazing editor. We love doing the 1-1-1 together!
Friends - God has used the 1-1-1 to start new friendships, even a few with non-Christians.
It feels like the first issue was just last month. It’s hard to believe it’s been 100 weeks. As always, I would love to hear from you. What have you liked? Any favorite series or issues? Any ideas to improve the newsletter?
On this benchmark day, I thank God for you! I appreciate your love, prayers and support. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your Tuesdays.
